- No, this is a non-competition, self guided motorcycle only event.
- Total course mileage is approx 190 Miles for both routes.
- There is no more than 60 Miles between gas stations. There will be (3) public gas stations along the way. These will also be the bail out points for the ride.
- The route will not be physically marked. This is a self-guided route by GPS or roadbook only. Course route will be shared with paying participants at registration.
- Motorcycles must be street legal. It is the riders responsibility to meet California street legal requirements for all motorcycles.
- The course itself will not be that difficult including fire roads, sand washes and limited technical Rocky sections. There is approx. 3 miles of paved road on the entire route. The challenge will be mileage, We kept mileage and daylight concerns in mind when we planned the route. Make sure to be efficient at Gas stations in order to finish before dark.
- The navigation class will be provided with a roadbook that can be either printed ahead of time or downloaded prior to the event in electronic form. We have sourced guidance from some of the best American rally entrepreneurs to ensure this class can enjoy the challenge of this rally navigation self guided dual sport tour. The navigation class will have its own route separate from the Dual Sport class in order to make the experience truly unique.
- Lodging is available and is listed on the entry form. Riders are responsible for their own reservations.
- This is a point to point route. It is the riders responsibility to get themselves and their equipment to and from the river. We recommend bringing the family and having them be your "Chase Crew". Additional food and event shirts are available so chase crews can be included. Overnight parking will be available at Slash X for those who need it.
